Not a Resource

Went for a Sunday motorcycle ride with a buddy. Hit a tourist trap about 45 minutes away from civilization for breakfast and then went deep into the backroads for a few hours. Dodged a few obstacles, saw some of the usual wildlife for this area, and some pheasant. I had no idea that we have pheasant here. Next time I’ll be sure to bring a camera. Or maybe a shotgun.

The ride was fun, if a bit long. I could have done with a couple more hydration and smoke breaks. It has also become apparent that I need riding gloves — I can’t recall ever having sunburned hands before and it is unpleasant enough that I’d like to never have them again.

And I desperately need to get a radio or MP3 player wired up to my helmet. After about an hour of riding I started singing to myself…
